Tony Swaim

Tony Swaim

Tony is the online instructor for most of the manufacturing and operations courses through our ed2go partnership. He guides you through your lessons, facilitate discussions, and answer your questions.

Since 1982, Tony have taught at UCLA Extension, University of California, Irvine, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, California State Universities at Long Beach and Fullerton, and Chapman University. He have delivered on-site project management training for Cedars-Sinai Health Systems, Motorola, Mercury Insurance and Alcatel/Lucent, and have provided Lean Six Sigma and supply chain training for Textron, Yamaha, Boston Scientific, and Emerson Electric.

His previous positions included Director of Supply Chain Management for Allergan, Worldwide Production Planning and Systems Manager for Beckman Coulter, and Materials Manager for Baxter Healthcare.

Tony has helped many clients, colleagues, and students reach their professional and personal goals. He has been an online instructor since 1998 and has taught at colleges and universities across the United States since 1981. His focus areas are project management, purchasing, continuous process improvement (CPI)/Six Sigma, and supply chain management. He currently manages a successful consulting firm, and his industry experience includes 20 years of supply chain management. Mr. Swain earned an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, and holds professional certifications in six disciplines, including the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

Tony is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.
