About the opportunity:

You are a member of our administrative and management team. Set your mark at Huritt Global Business School while working with our global partners in quality education to the Nigeria maket through our online education platform.  As Programme Coordinator (UK Top-Up Programme), you will help students with their questions as well as assisting in organizing any events and activities.

You are the point of contact with our UK university partners, and you will manage all communications with ATHE and with the Director in updating Huritt Global Business School’s Top-Up programmes.

This position will start as a Virtual Academic Coordinator part-time for the first 6 months for training on the task’s accomplishment.

Virtual Programme Coordinator, Part-Time

General Virtual Role

A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills is as important as having some strong foundation skills to get started.

Responsibilities.

We need an individual who can handle minor and major tasks from the comfort of their home and can effectively use MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, who can use virtual communication tools, etc. Other duties as training and needs expand.

Key Skills needed.

  • Excellent English, both written and verbal.
  • A willingness to communicate in a timely manner is a must.
  • Strong skills with programs such as word processor and spreadsheet programs.
  • Familiarity with a variety of media platform
  • Previous customer service/ student service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to plan and work independently with little direction and meet schedules and timelines.

Requirements
HND or Bachelor’s degree, plus at least 3 years of verifiable work experience

  • Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices associated with higher education curricula, college level course scheduling and instruction, student learning, and student success.

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of management.

  • Knowledge of the development, implementation, and assessment of student learning outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, educational psychology, or instructional psychology, or other degree with emphasis in adult learning theory.
  • Experience in a learning lab, learning resource center, or tutorial services center within the last five years.
  • Experience supervising and training tutors or educational aides.
  • Expertise or coursework in developmental education or a related area.
